Yaz!!!!!!!!!? Ok so im 17. i am interested in taking the birth control Yaz. I dont want to take it to prevent pregnancy, cause I plan on staying a virgin until Iam married. But I want to take it to have a more regular period and not so bad cramps. Right now every period i have is late and I get cramps so bad on the first day I have to stay in bed. So from experience does anyone think Yaz is right for me or have used it or are using it now.

Just started Yaz birth control. How long does it normally take to see breast growth as a side effect? I'm on my second week of Yaz, my breasts feel a tiny bit fuller and a little sore. I was wondering, for those of you who've experienced breast growth as a side effect of Yaz, how long did it take? Will the new size last for as long as I'm on the pill?

I ended up having unprotected sex today, but he didn't finish inside of me. Is there any chance of pregnancy? Will discountinuing Yaz birth control relieve side effects or cause weight gain? I have been on Yaz birth control for about 7 months now in hopes to clear up my acne and decrease my cramps. Sure enough my face is clear and my cramps are gone. However, after extreme side effects such as: weight gain, skin rash, breast tenderness, and mood swings, I decided it would be best to come off the pill. Has anyone experienced any problems with coming off Yaz. Is it possible to drop the weight gained on the Yaz when coming off? Thank you all!

Can spotting after sex be related to my Yaz birth control pill? I went to the gyno in June, and everything checked out fine. Later that month, I started taking the Yaz birth control pill. Pretty much since I started, I have noticed light spotting after sex. It's a light brown/pinkish color, and it really only comes out when I go to the bathroom. It stops within a few hours. can someone tell me the difference between yazmin and Yaz birth control? i take yazmin which is in a purple package but i see the tv ad for Yaz birth control all the time and it says how it helps pmdd cause it has the hormone drsp in it but when i check the internet they both have that hormone so what makes them different?

I am currently on Yaz and had unprotected sex during the placebo pills stage of my birth control.? I usually get my period on my 3rd placebo pill, however i had unprotected sex on the day of my 2nd placebo pill...so i had not gotten my period yet. I took plan B the next day. was this necessary? I haven't gotten my period yet and should be starting my new pack of yaz tomorrow. should i still start the new pack even though I haven't gotten my period yet? or should I wait for my period to start and then start the new pack the following sunday?

Has anyone else completely lost their appetite after starting Yaz? I just recently started taking Yaz birth control. The one side effect I've noticed for me is that my appetite is completely different. Most of the time I'm not hungry, and whenever I eat certain foods, they almost make me nauseous after taking a few bites, and then I can't eat anymore. The only foods that I seem to be able to eat are carbs like bread, pasta, things like that. I am thinking this definitely has something to do with taking Yaz, so I was wondering if anyone else suffered these kinds of side effects?

Yaz and Antibiotics: how does it effect you if you start your new pack as you end your antibiotics? I have been on birth control for over 7 years consistently, and have been on Yaz for 8 months. I was diagnosed with a UTI and put on antibiotics, specifically sulfamethoxazole, for a week. I had my monthly during that week, and started a new pack the 2nd to last day of my antibiotics. So I had taken the first 2 BC pills of my new pack and on those 2 days I also took my last two days of antibiotics. I was sexually active on the 3rd day of my pack, but used backup for that day and the next two days. My question is if whether or not I have to continue a backup to use with Yaz if I had barely started my new pack as I was ending my antibiotics. Am I protected as fully against pregnancy with just my pill, or has my antibiotic in those first two days of my pack effected the entire month of my protection and so I need to use back up for a month? Has anyone who is or has taken YAZ birth control noticed a decrease in your sex drive? I just started YAZ and I have noticed a lack of desire to have sex. This is fairly abnormal for me. Any Experiences? I understand that birth control is not 100% however, I head that it is more likely to get pregnant on YAZ than other bc pills.

Oh, guess I should have specified that I'm already on it and have been for 5 months now, those symptoms are terrible, but I didn't have any of that, my breasts were a little sore for the first 2 months, not bad tho, and I had a bigger tendency to get headaches for the 1st couple months as well, but nothing major and now I feel as if I'm back to normal, no major symptoms at all!

What is the difference betweem Yasmin and Yaz Borth Control? My doctor switched me from Kariva to Yaz because of acne problems. I start it Sunday. I looked up info on it and horrible(and scary) information came up about Yasmin but nothing on Yaz. I'm afraid to switch now but I want to control the acne. My girlfriend has taken the birth contol YAZ pill for 8 days. How soon is it safe to have intercourse? My grilfriend was under the impression that because she is now taking YAZ, that after that first pill, she was protected from getting pregnant. how long before the birth control yaz starts working? I've been on yaz for a few days now and haven't had that many side effects. Just extremely tired so I figure I'll just take it at bedtime.
