How long does it take for the birth control pill Yaz to take effect?
How long will it take before I am protected from pregnancies while using the Yaz pill? But I'm not a day of starter or a sunday starter...I fell asleep to early sunday so I took it monday. Am I still protected at all?

- It will take about 7 days for it to protect you against pregnancy. I've always been told to wait up until a month just to be sure and have always used that as my rule of thumb. It's not necessary to wait longer than that.

- if u start on the day of ur period then ur protected right away and if not then u have to wait 7 days
